Alte Schlossbrauerei in Mirow

The food was perfect and in large portions, if you don't get full here, it's your own fault. Unfortunately, no dessert fit in with us anymore, we'll make up for that tomorrow and then leave out the starter. The menu also has something for everyone. The service was very friendly and attentive. Definitely going back and highly recommended. It's a shame that such gastronomy will have a very difficult time again due to the corona restrictions ...

We had 2x cordon bleu and roast venison from the leg. Very good taste. The portions a little too small for the price. Dessert (chocolate sorbet and "ice cream and hot") was good. You can't go wrong here. Gladly again.

Eat very tasty, the duck breast could be seared on the skin, then it would be nice and crispy. If a guest goes somewhere from the table between the appetizer and the captain, it would be nice if the food wasn't put down and got cold. But otherwise highly recommended.

The restaurant and the associated knight's cellar have been restored and designed with great care! The owner (met him personally) enthusiastically reports on the interesting history of the place and his famous daughters ((Sophie Charlotte Sophie Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1744-1818); Luise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1776-1810); Friederike von Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1778-1841))! Visiting the brewery cellar (restaurant) was an excellent decision! The menu is very extensive with fish and meat (game) from the region! Our dishes were excellent, the service very friendly and the visit a very successful evening! Highly recommended! Unfortunately, due to the corona virus, the cultural events in the Ritterkeller cannot be carried out! We will definitely come back when, hopefully, the situation relaxes again!

We stopped in the old castle brewery spontaneously today and can only report positive things. Hence our 5 stars! Very courteous service staff and a great kitchen. We would love to come back!

Nice location, very nice service. The restaurant was very well attended, there were four of us here. We ordered fried herring and cod fillet. The food came quickly and hot. Unfortunately there were quite a lot of fish bones in the cod fillet, which were quite large, which greatly reduced the joy of eating. The waiter was informed of this - unfortunately he did not react at all. It's a shame.

The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The interior is cozy and you have a beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. My girlfriend and I had both ordered schnitzel with coquettes and each came with a 3mm thin frozen schnitzel. Why don't you make your schnitzel and side dishes fresh? TK unfortunately doesn't work at all.

The place seems a bit cold. The food tastes good and is very plentiful. There are no spices on the table and the staff is friendly. Price performance is okay.

Nice centrally located hotel in Mirow. Despite booking normal double room, got a nice large family room. Breakfast would have to be booked separately for 9 euros depending on the booking of the arrangement - it could actually be integrated into the room price. The breakfast buffet is very nicely arranged and always a little bit different every day. There were enough parking spaces.

We were served very friendly and courteous. The selection of dishes is very extensive and there is something for every taste. Everything was delicious and very nicely presented! We will definitely not be there for the last time! We recommend!

We went to the castle brewery twice during our vacation. Both times we were won over by the freshly prepared dishes that tasted excellent. We especially noticed the very friendly service.

Great restaurant with a beautiful lake terrace, also the interior typical of a brewery rustic. Unfortunately we were placed right next to the door where it was very drafty. We only received a menu for 6 people from the extremely friendly Corana service, (it can certainly be done differently) this is very promising. Unfortunately we weren't very hungry that day and ordered starters and snacks. The menu is also friendly for children, including a little surprise. All the food is of good quality, only the sauce hollandais foam on soljanka and fish soup does not appeal to me.

Only the organization of the service with tables and who came and when really took a long time. Almost an hour to order drinks. For my taste therefore 2 points deduction!

We had a great holiday in the Alte Schlossbrauerei and felt very comfortable! The staff was always super friendly, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the food was always delicious, despite the extremely full restaurant and always full terrace on the lake! A little tip: You should always reserve a place to eat in good time, because the restaurant is always very busy. In any case, it was not the last time we were in the Alte Schlossbrauerei. I've got used to the high prices in the holiday areas. But the service in most restaurants is at least adequate, in contrast to this. The waitress is apparently only satisfied as soon as they can charge a big surcharge for the smallest change in a dish, as this is the only way they can exercise their power. The drinks menu is packed full of alcoholic drinks, as this is probably the only way to bear the service. On the other hand, there is not even still water. This means that you have to buy some cheap sugar drinks at inflated prices.
